FISH UNNAKKAAYA (MALABARI FISH SNACK)

INGREDIENTS‌

FRIED KING FISH (WITH CHILLY POWDER, TURMERIC POWDER AND SALT  ) - HALF CUP
BREAD - 10 PIECE
CHOPPED ONION - 2 Nos
SLICED GREEN CHILLY - 6 Nos
EGG - 2
CHOPPED CORRIANDER LEAVES - QUARTER OF A CUP
CHOPPED CURRY LEAVES - 6 SPRIGS
PEPPER - 1 TEA SPOON
OIL - FOR FRYING

PREPARATION

1) MIX ALL THE ABOVE INGREDIENTS TOGETHER.

2) IF REQUIRED ADD SOME MILK AND SALT AS PER YOUR TASTE. 

3) ROLL IT LIKE UNNAKKAAYA(AS SHOWN IN IMAGE ABOVE).

4) DEEP FRY IT.

5) SERVE IT HOT WHILE CRISP.

6) MAY SERVE WITH SPICY TOMATO SAUCE TO ADD A KICK TO TAST BUDS.

i got a doubt...r we rolling the unnakaya with masala inside bread or do we mix bread with masala...sorry to trouble u but pls clear my dbt..

@shabi : thanks 4 your concern and no TROUBLE at all. its not like you do with banana unnakkaya. you have to mix all together and roll it like unnakkaaya. this dish got its name because of its shape... hope i cleared your doubt and remember not to fry in coconut oil...

unnakkaya luks awesome...But I am a bit confused...do v hav to mix the bread with the fish?or v hav to cover the masala with bread?thanks for the recipe.

@Bini : you have to mix fish and all together and roll it like unnakkaaya. this dish got its name because of its shape... happi EATIN :) :) :)
